Where can I download AG CYBER program?
A
Very easy. Go to http://www.aggenesis.com and login to AG CYBER. The system will prompt you to download AG CYBER program. Kindly follow the instruction on the screen.

Program downloading and access do not work. What should be done?
A

AG CYBER program uses 80 PORT and 5013 PORT. Basically, on the windows, you can use these 2 ports, but downloading cannot be done in case a user blocks these ports at his/her disposal. After you log on to AG CYBER identification page, an ActiveX file (BasicSetupX) will prompt you to install. But if Internet Explorer shuts down or system is closed during installation, it will cause AG Cyber program to be unstable. In this case, try download again after deleting AG CYBER program folder. The folder is inside the Program Files subfolder. If you encounter error message after downloading AG CYBER program, just close all the relevant windows and try to access again.

I can see a part of the video conference screen only.

Please set your monitor resolution to 1024 * 768 if it is set below 800 * 600.

How many users can participate in one video conference?

A
Conference mode – maximum 12 users.
Seminar mode – maximum 100 users.
Observer mode – maximum 32 users.

Is it possible to record a video conference?
A
Yes. It is an option.

Please check whether a microphone is built in a camera.
A
If a microphone is built in a camera, the built in microphone must be recognized first even if another microphone is connected as this could be the main cause of the howling. Thus, please set as ‘Not use of built in microphone'. (My Computer > Registered Information (Attribute) > Hardware > Device Administrator > Sound, Video Controller > USB Sound. Please right click the mouse on the USB sound and then set as ‘Not use'.

A lot of noise.

Please check whether a headset is plugged to the computer. You should check this part because most of the loud noises come from bad contact of hardware. Red color = microphone and Black / Green color = speaker. In case of low-priced microphone, these are some cases in which loud noises are heard in the voice entry part and defection rate in high. Please try to use a different kind of microphone (headset microphone). In volume controlling part, please set all the devices to mute mode except volume control and wave. This can block the noise from other devices.

Voice delay is severe and streams are often dropping.

Please check the state of the user's network. It is desirable for users to download a minimum 512kbps and upload above 60kbps. Please lower the number of video frame per second, or network bandwidth by running [Option > Video] menu in the video conference window. (Set by only conference / class moderator / EX: 256kbits) With high CPU occupation rate, the system overload may cause temporary dropping. To minimize CPU occupation rate, please close all windows on the Explorer, messenger and other programs.

In case you cannot hear from others.
A

When a person speaks, the voice bar at the bottom of the speaker – side screen will move. If there is no voice bar, this means the voice of the other person is not delivered. Check the cable connection of headset / microphone is properly connected to the sound card or not. For PC, the microphone connector must connect to the pink color at the sound card. (See at back side of your PC, sound card normally has 3 or 4 connection point). The firewall of network which has been blocked can be one of the reasons also. In case you still cannot hear even though there is a sign, this means the other person's voice is delivered but there could be a problem with the sound card and headset (speaker) connection. Please check whether you can hear the voice by running other music programs.

In case users' voice is heard again from the speaker.

Sound setting problem – howling may occur when the setting of recording control of sound card is not proper. Please click at Start > Program > Accessories > Entertainment > Volume Control, and select recording in Registered Information and confirm only the microphone is ticked. If not please select microphone only.

If other party complained that my voice is low, how can I increase it?

A

Please check the volume bar of the microphone at the user's side which is speaking. If you have raised the volume bar to the highest but your voice is still low, click Start > Program > Accessories > Entertainment > Volume Control and select option. Check Advanced Control and increase the microphone volume.

In case you can't see yourself.

Please check whether the camera is properly installed. Be sure that the driver of web cam is proper setup into your computer. Then go to My Computer > Scanners and Cameras, then double click or open the web cam device. Check whether the go the video display or not.

What is the number of screen frame per second? Is it possible to control?
A
The number of screen frame per second is controlled in Option on the video conference window. Based on the state of the network, it can be controlled automatically; the setting of 1- 10 frames is possible by manual operation. (On the condition of setting the maximum value of frames as 10).

What kind of web camera should be used?

A
Any web cameras available in the market. You cannot use a camera that supports only a specific format (MJpg). If possible, use a valid qualifying product because a web camera may have collision problem with Drive and OS.

I want to use the existing hardware camera, or the camera that I'm using by having Mpeg card built-in.

It is possible to use all data read by image device in your screen. Please set your image source to Mpeg Card.

Is video conference impossible for a modem user?

A
It is possible, even though there is no problem in case of using voice only, but there is a difficulty in exchanging voice and video at the same time. The delay and dropping of voice / video is in direct proportion to the number of conference participants.

What type of document or data that can be shared in video conference?

A

Currently, MS Office program e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel and etc. Hangul, Image file, PDF, HTML is also available.
